Breena Jewellery — Portishead
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
1. Our Products
Every piece of Breena jewellery is made using hand-collected, genuine sea glass from Portishead, which means each item is truly one of a kind. Every effort has been made to display our jewellery as accurately as possible on our website; however, due to the natural variation in sea glass — including colour, shape, size, and surface texture — the piece you receive will be similar in design to the one pictured, but not always entirely identical. This is what makes each piece special.
If you have a specific preference or query about a piece before ordering, please do get in touch and we will do our best to help.
We aim to keep our website as up to date as possible. Some of our jewellery is held in limited stock — if an item is marked “Available on backorder”, please allow an additional 4–5 working days from the date of your order for your jewellery to be prepared and dispatched. If you need your order for a specific date, please let us know at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to withdraw any design from sale at any time without notice.
2. Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in UK pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable VAT. Delivery is free for all UK orders.
We accept payment via PayPal and credit or debit card as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay through our secure checkout. Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering.
3. Delivery & Collection
We currently ship to UK addresses only. If you are an international customer, please message us before placing an order and we will do our best to help.
If you require your order for a specific date, please let us know using the information box when placing your order, or send us a text on 07454 054945. All orders are dispatched to the address provided at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries resulting from an incorrect address.
4. Returns & Refunds
At Breena, we want you to be delighted with your order. Each piece is lovingly made. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out.
Our returns policy lasts 14 days from the date of your purchase. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original, unworn condition and in the original packaging. Please retain your receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to confirm receipt and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original payment method within a reasonable number of days.
Return postage: You are responsible for paying your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
Gift purchases: If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. If the order was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
Late or missing refunds: If you have not received your refund, please first check your bank account, then contact your card provider, as processing times vary. If you still have not received it, please contact us at breenajewellery@outlook.com.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms.
5. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your jewellery arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographs and your order details. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including return postage where applicable.
6. Care of Your Jewellery
Each piece of sea glass jewellery is carefully made to last, though it does need a little looking after. When putting your jewellery on or taking it off, it’s best to do so over a soft surface rather than a hard floor, to protect the glass from breakage.
Over time, you might notice the sea glass darkening slightly where it touches the metal. This can be easily brightened with mild soap, warm water, and a very soft toothbrush. The 14k gold-filled metal we use is strong and durable, but like all metals it can be affected by salt, moisture, or chemicals. A gentle clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth will restore the shine.
To prolong the life of your piece, avoid contact with perfume, lotions, and cleaning products. Store your jewellery in its gift box or a soft pouch when not in use. We cannot be held responsible for accidental damage resulting from normal wear or mishandling.
Our pieces are made using 925 sterling silver and 14k gold-filled metal. Gold-filled differs from gold-plated in that it uses a solid gold sheet pressure-bonded to a base metal, making it significantly more durable and longer lasting.
7. Bespoke & Custom Orders
We are happy to discuss bespoke commissions. Please contact us to discuss your requirements before placing an order. Custom and personalised pieces cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty. Bespoke orders require a non-refundable deposit at the time of ordering, with the balance due before dispatch.

We will never sell or share your personal data with any third party, except where required to fulfil your order (e.g. postal services). We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the value of the item purchased. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
